Sanjiv Puri Becomes The New Chairman Of ITC Limited

ITC Limited (country's largest cigarette maker) has appointed MD Sanjiv Puri as its new Chairman with immediate effect.
Sanjiv joined ITC in the year 1986, and he was appointed as CEO in 2017 and as MD in 2018.
On 11th May 2019, YC Deveshwar passed away at 72, who was the chairman and non-executive director of the diversified conglomerate.
