Former ISRO Chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar Awarded with France's Highest Civilian Award - Chevalier de l'Ordre

Former ISRO Chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar was awarded France’s highest civilian honor - Chevalier de l’Ordre national de la Legion d’Honneur, for his contribution to India-France space cooperation.
Mr. Kumar worked as the Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from 2015 to 2018.
Now, he holds the Chair of the ISRO Committee on Earth Observation Satellites.
