India has Registered its Name in the List of Space Superpower
Current Affairs 27th March 2019. Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said India has registered its name in the list of space superpower.
Mr. Modi said India has entered its name as an elite space power, an Anti-Satellite Missile (A-SAT), successfully targeted a live satellite on a low earth orbit.
He said so far, Russia, America, and China had this status and now India has also achieved this achievement as the 4th nation to strike a live satellite and the Mission was completed within just 3-minutes.
Congratulating all DRDO scientists for achieving this unparallel feat, PM Modi termed Mission Shakti as a huge success. He said, today's Mission Shakti aimed at strengthening India's overall security.
