- Current Affairs 16th March 2019. The top BJP Leaders and Union Ministers, Chief Ministers took the pledge of 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' on Twitter following an appeal by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to his supporters.
- PM Modi, along with his cabinet colleagues, added 'Chowkidar' before their names on the micro-blogging site.
- The party leaders including Amit Shah, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Piyush Goyal, JP Nadda, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das also followed suit.
- The Prime Minister had yesterday urged people to take the 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' pledge, saying that he is not alone in the fight against graft and social evils.
