Kummanam Rajasekharan resigns as Governor of Mizoram

Current Affairs 8th March 2018. Today, Kummanam Rajasekharan (age 66 years) has resigned from his post as Governor of Mizoram.
The President Ram Nath Kovind (age 73 years) has accepted the Rajasekharan resignation.
President has appointed Prof. Jagdish Mukhi as the Governor of Mizoram, in addition to his own duties of Assam Governor, until regular arrangement for the office of the Governor of Mizoram is made.
