- World Wildlife Day has been observed on 3rd March across the world, to celebrate and raise awareness of the world's wild fauna and flora.
- The 2019 theme is “Life Below Water: For people and planet”.
- The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) decided to proclaim 3rd March as the World Wildlife Day.
