- Abdul Sattar - Pakistani's Former Foreign Minister passes away. Sattar was served as the Foreign minister under Pervez Musharraf Government (from 1999 to 2002). He was 88-years.
- Prior to this appointment, he was serving as ambassador to the Soviet Union and Permanent Representative of Pakistan to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
- He was also a writer and authored several books on Foreign policy and won critical praise.
