  • Indian snooker player Pankaj Advani (age 33 years) wins the 35th Men's Asian Snooker Championship in Doha, Qatar.
  • Advani defeated Thai player-Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon (age 25 years) 6-3 in the finals.
  • Now, Advani becomes the only one to win the Asian and World championships in all formats.
  • Advani conquered the ACBS Asian Snooker events - 6-red (short format) and 15-red (long format), and the IBSF World Championships in both formats too.
