- World Music Day is celebrated on 21st June annually to show the importance of music.
- In this day, the people of a city or country are allowed and urged to play music outside in their neighborhoods or in public spaces and parks.
- In the 1970s, The idea was conceived by American musician Joel Cohen. In 21st June 1982, the first World Music Day was observed in Paris, France. Later it became celebrated in 120 countries around the world.
