- Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman (age 59 years) attends the 2-day meeting of G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors at Fukuoka, Japan from 8th to 9th June 2019.
- Smt Sitharaman flags serious issues relates to taxation and digital economy companies, and to curb tax avoidance & evasion FM urged to contain international oil market to bring benefits to both the oil exporting and importing countries.
- Along-with Sitharaman, Governor of RBI Shaktikanta Das (age 62 years) also attend the G-20 Finance Minister meeting.
In Nov 2020, Saudi Arabia will host the G20 summit.
- G-20 include Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, United States, India, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea among others.
