Global Day of Parents observed on 1st June

The Global Day of Parents is celebrated every year on 1st June.
In 2012, this day proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly to honors parents around the world.
This day provides an opportunity to appreciate all the parents throughout the world for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship.
