- India-Nepal Logistics Summit unveiled by Prime Minister of Nepal Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli on 28th July 2019 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- The theme for this year is "Transforming Logistics Landscape".
- On this occasion, Nepal Prime Minister said smart logistics plays a crucial role in making trade and transit arrangements easy, hassle-free and cost-effective.
- He also said both the countries have a significant volume of trade, investment, tourism and people-to-people movement for which smooth and quality logistics including easy transit facilities is very essential.
- During the summit, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Shri Manjeev Singh Puri (age 60 years) said, India is fully committed to providing all necessary support to Nepal in achieving its goal of prosperity.
