Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards Announced: Complete List of Winners

The Sangeet Natak Akademi has selected 44 artists who have made a mark as young talents in their respective fields of Music, Dance, Theatre, Traditional, Folk, Tribal Music, Dance, Theatre, Puppetry and Overall contribution or scholarship in the Performing Arts.
In the category of Akademi Ratna:- Zakhir Hussain (Tabla Maestro), Sonal Mansingh (Dancer), Jatin Goswami (Dancer & Choreographer) and K. Kalyanasundaram Pillai (Bharatnatyam).
In the field of Overall Contribution/ Scholarship in the Performing Arts:- Diwan Singh Bajeli and Puru Dadhich.
The artistes include - Mani Prasad (Hindustani Vocal), Tarun Bhattacharya (Santoor Play), Radha Sridhar (Bharatanatyam), Akham Lakshmi Devi (Manipuri), Rajiv Naik (Playwriting) and Malini Awasthi (Folk Music).
