- Former captain of Pakistan men's cricket team Shoaib Malik (age 37 years) announced his retirement from ODIs without making a farewell appearance in his side's victory over Bangladesh in ICC World Cup 2019.
- He played 287 ODI matches for Pakistan and scored 7,534 runs including 9-centuries. He also picked up 158 wickets.
- But, Shoaib (All-rounder) will continue to play the T20 matches.
