National Science Day observed on 28 February

National Science Day observed in India on 28th February of every year to commemorate in the honors of Indian Physicist Sir C.V. Raman, who discovered Raman Effect on 28th February 1928.
The objective of National Science Day is to spread the message about the Importance of science used in the daily life of the people.
The theme of National Science Day 2019 was "Science for the People and the People for Science".
