- Nepal’s Tourism Aviation Minister Rabindra Prasad Adhikari among 7 others were killed in helicopter crash in Taplejung district.
- He was belonging to the Nepal Communist Party. The team had gone for a feasibility study for an airstrip in Chuhandanda in neighbouring Tehrathum.
