- The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi conferred the National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) Awards 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. He also launched the 'Khelo India' Mobile App at the event, which is aimed to bring awareness on fitness and sports.
- The theme of NYPF Awards 2019 is ‘Be the Voice of New India and Find solutions and Contribute to Policy’.
- More than 50,000 youths participated through Youth Parliaments at all levels. The best 3 speakers at the National Youth Parliament were awarded Rs 2,00,000/-, Rs 1,50,000/- and 1,00,000/- respectively in order of merit along with a certificate.
- National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 has been jointly organized by National Service Scheme and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
