HP State Assembly Passes Bill to Make Sanskrit the 2nd Official Language

Himachal Pradesh assembly passed an Official Language Bill, 2019 Amendment to make Sanskrit the 2nd official language of the state. This Bill introduced by Irrigation and Public Health-Minister Mahender Singh Thakur in the ongoing budget session.
HP state assembly also passed rename the Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences Bill, Amendment 2019 to ‘Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh’.
