HP State Assembly Passes Bill to Make Sanskrit the 2nd Official Language


  • Himachal Pradesh assembly passed an Official Language Bill, 2019 Amendment to make Sanskrit the 2nd official language of the state. This Bill introduced by Irrigation and Public Health-Minister Mahender Singh Thakur in the ongoing budget session.
  • HP state assembly also passed rename the Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences Bill, Amendment 2019 to ‘Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh’.
