- On 27th December 2019, Indian Railways inaugurated 'Him Darshan Express' with Vistadome coaches on the Kalka-Shimla route, and it will be running between Kalka & Shimla railway station up to 24th December 2020.
- It is the first-of-its-kind train that has 7-coaches including a 1-first-class sitting cum luggage room coach (FCZLR) and 6-first-class AC Vistadom coaches, with glass rooftop.
- This special train has a seating capacity of over 100 passengers, and one side fare is Rs 630 per person and no concession will be allowed on the tickets booked for the glass-train journey.
