Petroleum Minister inaugurated India's first long-distance CNG bus


  • Dharmendra Pradhan (Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister) has inaugurated India's first long-distance CNG bus in New Delhi, which can travel 1000 Kms in one fill.
  • The project has been executed by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and has been achieved through the pioneering design of Type IV Composite Cylinders in buses, replacing traditional very heavy Type-I Carbon Steel cylinders.
