Pinaka rocket successfully test-fired in Chandipur

The Upgraded Version of 'Pinaka' rocket, with enhanced range and guidance system, was successfully test-fired from Chandipur in Odisha.
DRDO official said, It covers a distance of 40 km for Mark-I and 75 km for the Mark-II and It can fire 12 rockets in 44 seconds.
The Pinaka rocket has been jointly developed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE), The RCI, and the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL).
