58th Goa Liberation Day observed on 19th December

The Goa celebrated its 58th Liberation Day at Mamlatdar office Pernem.
On 19th December 1961, the Goa was liberated from Portuguese control after almost 450 years of colonial rule.
Speaking on the occasion Deputy CM Shri Manohar Ajgaonkar said, remembered the contribution of the freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives to free Goa from the colonial.
