Vice President awarded Gujarat Police with President's Colours

M. Venkaiah Naidu (Vice President) awarded the Gujarat Police with the President’s Colours for their outstanding services. It is the highest honor given to the Indian Police.
Gujarat has become the 7th state to receive the prestigious President’s Colours after Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Tripura, and Assam.
The President’s Colours also called 'Nishaan', an emblem which all police officers would wear on the left-hand sleeve of their uniform.
