- Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane (age 59 years) will be the 28th Chief of Indian Army. Currently, Manoj serving as the Vice-Chief of the Indian Army.
- He will replace Bipin Rawat (Current Chief of Army Staff), who will retire on 31st December 2019.
