- The National energy conservation day is observed annually on 14th December across the country by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the Ministry of Power.
- The objective of this day is to showcase India’s achievements in energy efficiency and conservation and also aware people about the importance of energy efficiency and conservation.
- Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is observing National Energy Conservation Week from 9th to 14th December 2019.
