- The Captain of Women's Hockey Team Rani Rampal (age 25 years) won the 2019 Sportsperson of the Year Award. In another category, Indian shooter Saurabh Chaudhary (age 17 years) awarded the Sportsperson of the Year Award 2019.
- The awards were given at the FICCI Federation House, in New Delhi.
