- The News Broadcasters Federation (NBF) has elected Arnab Goswami (age 46 years) as the President of its governing board.
- Arnab Ranjan Goswami was born in Guwahati, Assam. He is a Journalist and TV news anchor, who is the editor-in-chief and owner of Republic TV.
- NBF is India’s largest association of over 78 news channels in 14 languages, which represents broadcasters from 25 states.
