- The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) along-with the Goa government is organizing the 2nd edition of the Startup India Global Venture Capital Summit on the 6th and 7th of December 2019.
- The theme for the Summit is "India Opportunity – Investing in tomorrow together".
- The focus of the Summit is to mobilize global capital for innovation in India.
- The Summit also aims to understand the best practices for the venture capital industry, identify issues faced by them for investments in India, and evaluate ways to address them.
