Sundar Pichai appointed as new CEO of Alphabet Inc.

Madurai, Tamil Nadu born Sundar Pichai (age 47 years) promoted as CEO of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google LLC.
He will replace Larry Page, who founded Google on 4th September 1998 in Menlo Park, California (US).
Pichai began his career as a materials engineer and joined Google as a management executive in 2004.
