3rd December: International Day of Persons with Disabilities

International Day of Persons with Disabilities observed today. This day is celebrated on 3rd December every year around the globe.
It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development.
The theme this year is "Promoting the Participation of Persons with Disabilities and their leadership: Taking Action on the 2030 Development Agenda".
