- The 14th Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi (age 68 years) and the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (age 58 years) released postage stamps on Mahatma Gandhi to celebrated his 150th birth anniversary.
- The Mahatma Gandhi postage stamps were issued at the UAE Presidential Palace. Both the nation shares the values of peace, nonviolence & pluralism.
