- Varun Raheja (Mechanical Engineer) from Indore, Madhya Pradesh has designed a Low-Cost Solar dryer, the job of drying up crops equally well. Solar Dryer is devices which helps farmers to dry up their crop, fruits, and medicinal plants.
- Rich farmers can easily access the solar-dyer but small and medium farmers can't use this equipment because of its higher cost.
- Varun changed the design of the solar-dryer to make it more cost-effective. He mostly used those spare parts which are easily available in the market.
