Former Cricketer Vikram Rathour Appointed As India's New Batting Coach


  • Former Cricketer- Vikram Rathour (age 50 years) has been appointed as Batting coach for Indian men's cricket team. He replaces Sanjay Bangar.
  • In another announcement, Bharath Arun (age 56 years) and Ramakrishnan Sridhar (age 49 years) re-appointment as bowling & fielding coaches.
  • Rathour was a right-handed opening batsman. During 1996-97, He played 6-Tests and 7-ODIs matches and scored 11473 runs at an average of 49.66 in 146 matches.
