- Indian wrestler Deepak Punia won a Gold medal at the Junior World Champion in 86 kg category at Tallinn, Estonia. Punia defeated Alik Shebzukov in finals to win the men’s freestyle title.
- In 92 Kg category, Vicky Chahar beat Mongolia's Batmagnai Enkhtuvshin 4-3 to win the Bronze medal.
