- The Country's highest civilian award 'Bharat Ratna' has been given to Former India's President Pranab Mukherjee, and late Social activist Nanaji Deshmukh, and late playback singer Bhupen Hazarika by President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
- The Award ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. Bhupen Hazarika's son Tej Hazarika and A relative of Nanaji Deshmukh, Virender Jeet Singh received the award for him.
- Senior Congress leader- Pranab Mukherjee (age 83 years), who served as the 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017. During 2009 to 2012, He was working as the Union Finance Minister.
- Nanaji Deshmukh was born on 11th October 1916 at Hingoli and died in Satna on 27th February 2010. He was a Social activist and In 1950, he has established India's first Saraswati Sishu Mandir at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
- Bhupen Hazarika was an Indian playback singer & film-maker, born on 8th September 1926 at Sadiya, Assam. In 1939, he made his first singing debut at the age of 12.
