ISRO - Vikram Sarabhai Journalism Award

The Founder of ISRO- Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. On his 100th birth anniversary, ISRO announced the Vikram Sarabhai Journalism Awards in 2-categories.
The objective of this award is to recognize and reward journalists who have contributed to the field of Space Science, Applications, and Research.
The first category of the award carries a cash amount of Rs 5 lakh, a medal, and citation and 2-journalists or Freelancers of print media will be awarded.
The 2nd category carries a cash amount of Rs 3 lakh, Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1 lakh and a citation each for Journalists or Freelancers of Print Media.
