Nobel Prize awardee Rabindranath Tagore 78th Death Anniversary observed today

The 78th death anniversary of Nobel Prize awardee Rabindranath Tagore observed on 7th August 2019 nationwide.
A special prayer meeting was held at Visva-Bharati University to mark this day and also organized a painting exhibition of Tagore.
In 1913, Tagore becomes the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature for his book 'Gitanjali'.
