- The Government of Netherlands banned face-covering clothing 'Burqa and Niqabs' in Public buildings, Transport and at health and education institutions.
- In Europe, there are 44 countries and around 100 to 400 women wear Burqa and Niqabs in the 17,000,000 people.
- The law was passed in June 2018 after more than a decade of political debate on the subject. It will be applied to all of the face-covering materials banned such as- Full-face helmets, Ski mask, etc.
