International Dance Day is celebrated on 29th April

International Dance Day is celebrated on 29th April globally every year.
It was created in 1982 by the Dance Committee of the ITI founded International Dance Day to be celebrated the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre, creator of modern ballet.
The day strives to encourage participation and education in dance through events and festivals held on the date all over the world.
