25th April: World Malaria Day

The 'World Malaria Day' being observed on 25th April every year. It aims to create awareness among the people about this vector-borne disease.
The 2019 theme for World Malaria Day is "Zero Malaria Starts With Me".
According to the WHO around 4,00,000/-, people die of malaria every year in the world.
In India, 10,00,000/- people suffers from this disease.
