Rasikh Salam becomes 2nd cricketer from J&K to play in 2019 IPL

Current Affairs 5th April 2019. Rasikh Salam Dar (age 18 years) has become 2nd cricketer from Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) to play in Indian Premier League (IPL) after Parvez Rasool.
In December last year, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the player auction for the 2019 IPL for Rupees 20,00,000/-.
The 'Rice Bowl' of Kashmir gave another star to the cricketing world. Today Rasikh Salam is an inspiring story to all the budding cricketers of the valley.
Salam, a right arm fast bowler made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.
