India’s longest Bridge will be built in Assam on Brahmaputra river

India’s longest river bridge of 19.3 Km length will be built in Assam on Brahmaputra river. It will connect the Dhubri district of Assam to Phulbari of Meghalaya state.
This bridge will be 4-lane, and it will reduce road travel by 203 kilometers and also travel time. with the help of this bridge, Assam and Meghalaya will be connected by NH127B.
At present, India's longest bridge with the total length of 9.15 Km is Dhola-Sadia bridge in Assam.
