Union Minister Launch AQEEWS in New Delhi

In view of deteriorating air quality of Delhi, Union Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan launches Air Quality Emergency Early Warning System in New Delhi on Monday.
He also launched an associated website for the same.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that the system will help combat air pollution in the National Capital by getting information 2-5 days in advance.
The minister also said that Central Pollution Control Board has constituted a 41 member-team which will continuously monitor the air pollution levels and report to the board.
