- Well-known Malayalam poet M N Paloor passed away at his residence at Kovoor in Kozhikode today. His family sources said the 86-year old poet, passed away due to age-related ailments.
- Paloor received the Sahitya Akademi Award for his autobiography 'Kathayillathavante Katha' in 2013.
- He also won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 1983 for his collection 'Kalikalam'. Kerala Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan conveyed his condolence on the death of M N Paloor.
