IAS-Vijay Kumar Dev appointed as new Chief Secretary of Delhi

IAS officer Vijay Kumar Dev has been appointed as the chief secretary of Delhi. He is a 1987 batch IAS officer from AGMUT cadre. He replaced Anshu Prakash (transferred last week as the additional secretary of the Department of Telecommunications).
Filmmaker Nandita Das to receive FIAPF Award:- Filmmaker Nandita Das will be honored with the International Federation of Film Producers Associations( FIAPF) Award at the 12th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) in Brisbane on the 29th of this month.
Classical Musician Ustad Imrat Khan Passes Away At Age 83:- Ustad Imrat Khan passed away in the US. He dedicated his life to propagating the Sitar and the surbahar worldwide. In 2017, he famously turned down the Padma Shri saying the recognition had come too late and diminished his achievements.
The Governor of Tripura Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki inaugurated the “7th International Tourism Mart for the North-East States” in the presence of Minister of State (I/C) for Tourism Shri K.J Alphons and the Chief Minister of Tripura Shri Biplab Kumar Deb in Agartala, Tripura this evening. It brings together the tourism business fraternity and entrepreneurs from the eight North Eastern States.
