Sadananda Gowda assumes charge of Chemicals and Fertilizers Ministry

Union Minister of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Shri D. V. Sadananda Gowda, has assumed charge of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, in addition to his existing portfolio.
The move was necessitated following the demise of Ananth Kumar. Gowda is currently the minister for statistics and programme implementation.
