The Ministry of Culture organized a three-day diverse cultural festival "Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav", which was opened by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat, near Lake Tehri, Uttrakhand.
This is the 9th edition of this festival. Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav was conceived by the Ministry of Culture in 2015 when the Ministry decided to organize it with the intention of demonstrating the rich cultural heritage of the country in all its rich and varied dimensions.
