Army Chief's statement - If Major Gogoi Guilty, then He Will Get Stern Punishment

In the case of Major Leetul Gogoi, who was detained with the girl in the hotel, General Bipin Rawat had insisted that if Major Gogoi was found guilty, he would give him such punishment that it would become a resident of the army for the rest.

After getting the preliminary report from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Army has ordered the Court of Inquiry against Major Leetul Gogoi. The army had already made it clear that if the court of inquiry is required against Gogoi then the army will take action according to the rules.

After the proceedings of the Court of Inquiry have started, the army will conduct the investigation of the entire case of Major Gogoi. While attending a program in Pahalgam in Kashmir, Army Chief Bipin Rawat had indicated that if Major Major Leetul Gogoi is found guilty in this case, strict action will be taken against him.
