The country's largest bank, State Bank of India, has issued results for the fourth quarter. According to these results from January to March, SBI has the biggest loss so far.
According to quarterly results, the bank had a net loss of Rs 7718.17 crore during the quarter ended March. This is the biggest loss in the history of SBI till now. Earlier, the State Bank of India had a net loss of Rs 2416.37 crore in the December quarter.
Earlier, the Punjab National Bank, which was trying to emerge from the scam, had suffered a major setback in the fourth quarter. During in this quarter last year, the SBI bank had a net profit of Rs 262 crore.
