India Expresses Concern Over Growing IED Attack on the Peacekeepers


India has expressed concern over the attack by IED (Improvised Explosive Device) on UN peacekeepers and calls for the mobilization of resources for security. In the United Nations, the Deputy Standing Representative of India Tanmay Lal said in the meeting of the UN Security Council on peacekeepers. IED attack is a very serious concern." He said, "In the last four years, 176 lives have been lost due to the violence. 43 of which have been done due to the IED attack. We believe that the peacemakers facing IED threats should be provided with the resources to deal with it. "
